We believe deeply in accountability, therefore
we have made a regular system of assessment one
of the two pillars of our programs. The second
is our commitment to offering an education infused
at every level with innovation. Every year we review
data to determine if students are meeting the expectations
in their courses and programs. We then measure
this data against the learning goals of the institution.
This process helps us to identify important needs
and bring in new ideas and solutions where indicated.
Your education at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology revolves
around four major learning goals that are essential
to professional psychology: Scholarship, Diversity,
Professional Behavior, and Professional Practice.
Every class you take contributes to the total competency
picture that is outlined by these four goals. Your
academic performance is far more than a set of
grades. It is a passport to your professional career.
Our four goals provide a framework for you to measure
your progress. This level of self-evaluation will
be the value you bring to your future employers
and to your role as leaders in the field of psychology.
