This class is an overview of the development of the healthcare system in the United States, including its organizational structure and the operation of various healthcare organizations. Students will reflect on the issues facing the industry today and examine long-term strategic planning for the operation of healthcare services in a competitive market.

EHP 733 Quality Management in Healthcare Organization
Students will explore basic quality management philosophy and strategies for positive organizational change in a changing healthcare environment.
